Adding Your NAICS Codes
NAICS codes are the lanes your feed pulls from. Add every code you can credibly claim.
The short answer
NAICS codes tell the feed which lanes to pull from SAM.gov. Every solicitation is filed under exactly one primary NAICS. Add every code you can credibly perform under — the feed grows as you add codes, shrinks if you remove them.
How to choose codes
Start with the NAICS your company is registered under in SAM. Then add adjacent codes you have actually delivered work in. Do not over-claim — a bid you can't legitimately perform is worse than a bid you never saw. Do not under-claim either — most companies leave real revenue on the floor by only listing one or two codes.
A note on size standards
Each NAICS has its own small-business size standard (employees or revenue). You may qualify as small under one code and other-than-small under another. The scorer respects set-aside eligibility per code, so keep your SAM registration current if you rely on small-business status.
Full and open still shows up
'No set aside used' means full and open competition — anyone can bid. Those come through the feed like any other notice. You do not need a special setting to see them.
